We have a busy week ahead of us! We started with the Davis Dash Kick-off event this morning. The packets were distributed this afternoon and went home. Please, Please, Please, register this evening! Even if that is all you are able to do, registering your child is a huge part of the process. Your child will be eligible to win prizes and help the class's progress if they are registered. I heard that we have already had some major pledges! Thank you for those and keep them coming! I am going to get a pie in the face by the top fund raiser in the 5th grade when we reach the $10,000 mark. Will it be you??

Other special events for this week. Tuesday is Early Release Day and if you are in Mrs. Matson's homeroom, the science cell projects are due. Thursday starts off with Super Specials, and ....drum roll please.... Friday is our 5th Grade Field Trip to Warm Springs! I will be sending home an information sheet in another day or two about what to bring and what they should expect. As for now, just be sure that the 5th grade Davis shirt is clean and ready to wear on Friday.
