Happy Thursday!
Sorry for not updating this blog as often as I usually do this week. It has been another busy day/week!!

We had a magnificent performance of the Barber of Seville this morning!  What an experience!

There is not a lot of homework this evening.  As usual, read for 25 minutes and my math class has a WS for converting customary units of measurements.

I am attaching a copy of the anchor charts we created in class here.
I am also going to attach the Spring Break Incentive Chart that went home earlier this week.

Spring Break Incentives!
Students have the opportunity to practice for Milestones over the break and win some FANTASTIC prizes! This is optional J

How to Play:
Students choose from the following websites to play:
www.ixl.com (Students must get a 100% on any 5th grade skill)
www.kahoot.com (links to specific games can be found below)

How to Win:
When a student finishes a practice test on the Parcc website, a photo of the website can be sent to me via email, remind, or you may print the final screen with the score to show that it was completed.
IXL accounts and Kahoot! can be checked at school on Monday, April 8th.
For every completed activity between March 29 and April 7, you will get your name written on one piece of paper. This means if you complete 5 activities, you will get your name on 5 pieces of paper.
On Monday, we will draw names for prizes. The more you play, the more chances you have to win!
