Are you ready for today's assignments?  Ready or not, here they come!

AM Work / Wordly Wise: (20 min)

This is you last week that I will assign morning work and wordly wise.  That being said, I expect you to be up to date on both of them.  Today you have week 35 in the Math review and week 34 with the grammar edits.  As usual, I will post the answers for last week.
Wordly Wise #17 E today.  The quiz will be on Wednesday.

Reading:  (30 min)

We have a few sections to do in IXL today.  5.J.1;  5.K.2;   5.F.4 & 5.

Writing: (20 min)

I kept the reading section short today so that you have time to work on your memoir.  We should all remember the due date is on Friday, so I want to give you as much time as possible to complete your writing.  By the end of today's session, you should have your first draft completely finished.  If you are ahead, please start editing and proof reading your piece.

Math:  (30 min)

This week we will be reviewing skills from throughout this year.  I will still have a few Khan Academy videos and practice, but they all are review.  Please check into Khan Academy and do the assigned tasks for today, then go to IXL and do 5.C.16 & 20;  5.D.12 & 14  These are all whole number multiplication and division word problems.

Social Studies:  (20 min)

Please check in the class notebook for this week's newspaper.  We will be reading week 23, continuing our work on the Cold War.  As usual, you will only be reading the information today.  Tomorrow you will do the WS activities.
Please check your O365 for items shared with you.  I will be sharing a power point with you on the Cold War that you are to read over and use as a study tool.  It will come in handy for the Quiz (graded) you will take on the Cold War next week.

OK...That is about it.  If you have any questions, just ask!  I will see you at the meeting this morning at 11:00!!
