Be ready in today's meeting to play Never Have I Ever and a few rounds of Truth of Dare.  Should be a fun game today!

Report Cards have been completed and Grades have been put in the grade book.  Remember, the report cards are only showing a "P" for passing. If there is any question about your grade in the grade book and what you thought you earned in IXL, please contact me today so that I can look into the matter.

OK!!!  I will see you at 11:00 today!

Happy Friday, ya'll!!

Here it is...the last Friday that we have school.  Kind of bittersweet, but we still have lots of fun things to do over the next few days.  Before the fun, though, there is still the work that needs to be accomplished.  Most of you are done with everything!  Way to go!!  A few of you have random assignments left to do and will easily finish today.  Way to go!!  I am so proud of you!!

If you still need to do the Forms quizes, you might want to do the Kahoots first as a way to refresh your memory and study.  I know a few of you who did that and your score went up.

I am also available for help when you do the IXL.  I have already talked a few friends through some of the math or reading questions.  My one piece of advice is to remember the strategies that we have used all year.  Read carefully, highlight important pieces, and make sure to have evidence from the passage to support your answer.

All right, guys...Are you ready for the last day of finishing school work???  Get to it and do your best!!!

Thursday, May 14, 2020

This is our last Thursday together!

If  you need additional help on any of the assignments, please let me know.  I may not be in the same room as you anymore, but I can still help you with your work.  We can share the screen and I will be able to walk you through what ever you are having difficulty with.

So many of you are completing all of your work and doing such a fantastic job of it!!!  I am so proud of you!

From what I see most of you should be completed with everything by today, but you will still have tomorrow as well.

The Kahoot games are open for you to play on and use as a review before taking the quizes.  Here are the links to get to  each game:

Happy Wednesday!

I hope that all of you are doing well today!  I was looking at the IXL scores and am very pleased with what I saw!  About half of you have already achieved mastery on the concepts posted!  Another third are working hard towards mastery!  That only leaves a small fraction who have not logged on to do the assignments on IXL.  If you do not have your log in information, let me know and I will get it for you during the meeting.  It will be a private chat, so no one else will know.

Keep up your amazing efforts!! you are in the home stretch now!!   As soon as you complete these assignments, you are done with 5th grade!!  But I want you to come back to the meetings daily!  I'd miss you if you you weren't there.  Plus we will have some special events planned for the last few days.  😉

I am re-posting the assignments for your convenience.
